Our Staff Philosophy
Bahamas Methodist Habitat is an outreach ministry of the Bahamas Conference of the Methodist Church, an independent, national denomination.
Our Board of Directors consists of clergy and members of various churches in the Bahamas Conference. Some are contractors, government workers, pastors, and other professionals.
Our paid staff is Bahamian, especially our hospitality and construction staff. Due to the cross-cultural nature of our work, we also include Long-Term Volunteers, Interns, and Summer Interns from the United States and beyond on our team. The Executive Director position has been filled by both Bahamians and US friends.
