Plan to book your travel by about 3 months prior to arrival but start looking as early as possible to catch a good rate. International flights to the Bahamas fluctuate in price a lot while local flight prices remain fairly stable all year.

Other Hints & Tips:

*Print your Travel Health Visa and bring a copy of negative Covid test results.

​*Beware new economy class policies with some airlines that do not include overhead space in the fare price

*Try checking for two one way rates (arrive on one airline, go home on another.) Some travel websites like Expedia will find those options automatically.

*Carry-on when possible and combine liquids & heavy items into only one or two 'group check bags' to save on baggage fees.

*If departing to the US via Nassau, you will go through US Customs and Passport Control before leaving Nassau. Plan one extra hour for that. Once in the US, your connection is a normal connection without any further customs or immigration.
