Items purchased from the Amazon lists will go directly to Agape Flights and then be delivered by them with our bi-monthly freight & mail shipment. Please advise us on our Ship to Us page if you purchase something so that we are prepared to deal with Bahamas Customs and the local import duty rates when the items arrive to the Bahamas. Please also consider donating online toward the cost of the shipping, Customs or VAT.
Getting items to The Bahamas costs @ $1.75 / pound for packages over 5 pounds and a flat rate of $25 for items under 5lb. We also must pay the Import Duty (which averages 35% of the contents' value) and the Value Added Tax (12% of total) to The Bahamas Government.
